#5 NINE WEST OUT OF TEN | FULL SKIRTS

Full, knee length skirts.

The type that makes you feel all glamorous and sexy and like you could be Sandy from Grease all rolled into one sweet item of clothing.

I think every gal should own one.

So about 4 months ago I came across this beaut skirt in H&M and I was all like ‘yeah, I could totally pull this off, I should deff own one of these’. So I bought it.

And yes okay I haven’t worn it yet, BUT I am planning on wearing it to a certain someone’s wedding this year, so don’t be judging.

So after seeing this style feature in a few mags and a few of my fave blogs, I decided to do my own post on the full, knee length skirt as it seems to be making an almighty come back.

And guess what? My Mother had the perfect shoes to team with this number – what a surprise! So let me introduce the Nine West sandals…

I love them. I want them to be my go-to summer heel. I’m not sure what Mum will have to say about that though. They’re super comfortable and just the right height for me. And anything with an ankle strap is an instant hit.

Nine West obvs come up with some gorgeous shoe creations and these are no exception. I can understand my Mum’s huge temptation with these beauties. These aren’t a recent purchase, and I just went on the site to find something similar for you and GUESS WHAT? These are in the sale here. They’re now only £29 from £115 – so if you love em as much as me and my mam then BUY BUY BUY.

Sorry that’s the aggressive shopper coming out in me, I get that from my Mother.

There’s something really fun and flirty about this style, and in this day and age of body con and miniskirts it’s seriously refreshing to wear something like this and feel so… ladylike.

It makes me want to go for champagne afternoon tea and eat mini scones with mountains of cream and jam.

Do you want to know the best thing about this skirt?

It has pockets. Skirts and dresses with pockets are a gazzilion times better than skirts and dresses with no pockets. It’s just HANDY. Mind the pun.

You know I mentioned up there about the vintage necklace? Well yeah, I know you can’t really see it from the photos up the top so here’s a close up. This is my all time favourite piece of jewellery. It was handed down to me from my Grandma, and I pretty much wear it with every shirt I own.

It was originally a bracelet, and then my Grandma turned it into a necklace. It’s just so pretty, so I had to share.
