AUTUMN WORK WEAR IN 3 LOOKS

img_1206.jpg

I’m mega hungover in bed as I write this and I deff have PT in less than 2 hours. When was it such a good idea to eat all the gluten, consume all the cocktails and stay out past my bedtime?

WHAT IS LIFE

When I’m back from PT (and feeling slightly more human) I’m gonna shoot some outfit photos for you because ‘hurrah’ it’s Autumn. Gal gotta look good in all seasons don’t you know.

Autumn is about layering. It’s about burnt oranges and khaki green. It’s about ankle boots and good jackets.

It’s also about kicking up crunchy leaves, owning a fabulous looking umbrella (that doesn’t blow inside out) and ensuring you have a pumpkin spiced latte in your hands at all times.

THE LAYERED PINAFORE

This pinafore was only £14.99 from New Look and I’m basically sticking everything in my wardrobe underneath it. It’s an easy go to look for work and hides any food babies from the night before.

Pairing it with ankle boots and nice hair makes it perfectly acceptable attire for meetings. Just saying.

THE FLOUNCY BLOUSE

Look at this Primark find. Yup, she’s a bit special.

This blouse is shouting Autumn. It’s long sleeved and hello, the colour is basically the same as all the crunchy leaves outside.

Easy to throw on in the mornings but statement enough to make it look like you tried to make an effort for work this morning.

THE LEOPARD PRINT MIDI

You may have seen me shouting about a photo shared by Miss Selfridge last week that featured this skirt. Uh huh, I did so many happy dances over that.

Well that was a super casual look but this is how I’m styling the skirt for workwear purposes.

I can’t tell you enough how much animal print is IN right now so please go get your mitts on some. As you can see, I’m still channeling all the pleats into Autumn. I just can’t get enough of it.
