Um so basically I’m about to step into The Royal Hotel for an afternoon of cocktail drinking on a Friday afternoon. ‘Cause what else is a gal to do to get her weekend started?
But before that, lemme show you my new obsession; embroidery.
It’s everywhere right now. New Look, Primark & Zara are shouting about it in a big way. And I can’t log onto my Twitter without seeing some kinda blogger event where they’re stitching their own patches and embroidery onto denim, proudly posing in their newly designed jackets embroiled with flowers and stars and their very own names. There’s definitely no bitter tone there. But I totally wanna be doing that.
I’m gonna get right to it (because there’s 100% an amazing cocktail waiting for me right now).
Whether you’re buying an across-the-body bag, some MOM jeans or a bomber jacket, just make sure it has some embroidery pattern scrawled across it left, right & centre.
Here’s my latest investment. A khaki bomber from TU Sainsburys. Yup, TU are upping their game with this one. Only £28 and she’s an absolute stunner.

And that my friends, is embroidery in a nutshell. Baaaasically, make like you’re in Year 5 again and get some patches and stitching and embroidery on everything you own. Heck, get some smell gel pens whilst you’re at it.
