Here’s a ‘lil round up of all the things that are making me smile from ear to ear this week. Enjoy.

Essie Nail Polish

Yes, I know the lovely Hannah Gale has been raving about it for like, forever. But it was only when one of my friends gave it this seriously snazzy recommendation that I decided – yes, I need to give this a try.

I purchased the ‘private weekend’ white and ‘chillato’ pistachio from Boots and now understand what all the fuss is about. At £7.99 it’s not the cheapest out there, but it’s seriously good quality and it has a fab colour range.

Topshop Bag Pom Pom – £5

It’s the small things in life isn’t it? How can something this small and furry bring me so much joy?

This bag accessory has become a bit of a ‘must have’ to give a quick update to your everyday bag. I’m pretty sure you can get some cheaper versions from Primark too.

Home Presents

HOORAY to home stuff. And HOORAY to these home gifts that were very nicely given to me by a close friend this week. I’m planning a whole mismatched cushion affair for my spare room, so this uni-pug addition will fit perfectly there. And it’s freaking adorable.

Oh and I roll my eyes. I don’t even know it happens. It’s like a resting bitch face. Soz not soz.

Jewellery from Blume Lifestyle (Rayleigh)

There’s this super chic shop just opened up in Rayleigh High Street. It’s called Blume Lifestyle. I’m already it’s biggest fan.

I’m one of those ‘SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDENT SHOP’ people, uh huh. It sells home stuff, jewellery, clothes and flowers. I want it to stay in our high street please, so if you’re local to me get down there and check it out.

I picked up these dainty bits of jewellery on Wednesday, and I’m over the moon with them. There’s also this beautiful embellished clutch bag in there that’s screaming out to be bought.  The stuff in there just feels a bit special, y’know?

Zara dress

I don’t usually wear white. Mainly because I’m a complete clutz and I seem to chuck food around by accident throughout the day (baked beans, tomato ketchup, smoothie, coffee – you name it, it’s on me). So white doesn’t stay white for long. Not cool.

But my Mum bought this white Zara dress and decided to give it to me (BONUS) and I’m a bit of a fan. I mean look at the back. I’m a sucker for a low back.

This little number will be making an appearance this weekend whilst I’m away on the Ultimate Hen Party. Let’s see how white it stays then. Watch this space…

Camping

So yes, camping was a few weeks ago now but I’ve been doing some serious reminiscing whilst sitting at my desk this week WAH. Camping in the UK is the new Cape Verde don’t cha know?

Camping is awesome, end of. Camping in Wallingford (Oxfordshire) is particularly awesome.

We camp along a beautiful slice of the River Thames. No, not the bit that has shopping trollys floating in it, but the bit that has ducks and swans and dreamy willow trees overhanging it. It’s peppered with giant houses and old pubs. The best thing? We can row to the pub. I feel like a kooky character from Wind in the Willows. Seriously, so good.

Check out this beautiful video by my mate Billy Haynes.
