FRIDAY FAVOURITES | 25.07.15

Hello you lovely people.

See below for things that have made me a happy chappy this week.

New Look Cropped Trousers

At a pint sized 5 foot nothing, usually cropped trousers are a bit of a ‘no go’ for me. Even the ones from the petite section still end up just that little bit too long. Darn my teeny tiny stumpy legs.

So when I came across these crazy cool pattered trousers in New Look, I debated even trying them on – avoid the pang of disappointment y’know? But they fitted, miraculously.

Thank you New Look for considering the tiny people of the world.

The material is super light which makes them perfect for warm days and just look at the pattern. Need I say more? Lush.

New Look Print Cropped Trousers – £17.99

Iphone 6

I might be a tad late to the Apple party, but I just got myself upgraded to an iphone 6 and it has completely and utterly made my week. I almost peed a little bit with happiness when the o2 man said I was due an upgrade. I nearly kissed him I was that bloody pleased.

My iphone 5 has been broken forever (it spazzes out if you touch it too much lolz) so this really is a huge deal. It came in this dreamy ‘white gold’ colour which makes me feel a bit special.

TK Maxx Phone Cases

Hands up, who wants to pay £25 for a phone case? No one? Okay, well avoid the o2 shop then.

I must admit, when Mum dragged me into TK Maxx to look for phone cases I was like ‘Mum, PER-LEASE, I don’t think we’ll be finding anything suitable in here’. I was so darn smug.

Then I had to swallow my pride as we came across these Nicole Miller cases with funky prints plastered across the back for just £6.99. SCORE. I picked out this ultra cute pineapple print one. (Soz Mum, you were right, I was wrong, blah blah blah)

Benefit ‘They’re Real’ Mascara

If you haven’t tried this mascara yet then you need to. To be honest I don’t really have tons to say about it other than it really does what it says on the tin. It gives you good natural lashes. Simples. It’s thin to apply, so you can build up the layers to suit you.

Benefit gets a lot of things right actually (including their snazzy packaging, so cute). A lot of my key products come from there (Brow Zings – 24.50, Hoola Bronzer – 23.50).

They’re Real! Mascara – £19.99

New Look Yellow Stripy Plimsolls

I love a good sale item. And when I saw these in amongst all the mismatched shoes and size 7 rejects I knew I had to save them. They just smiled out at me and yelled:

‘TAKE ME CAMPING AND I PROMISE THERE WILL BE SUNSHINE’

So I got ’em. At £4 they were a right bargain. They are so ridiculously smiley.

New York Colour Fancy Dotty Nail Polish

In my quest to own ALL the nail polish in the world I stumbled upon this polka dot colour in Superdrug. I thought it may come out a bit naff, but it’s become my new fave. It makes my nails look like like they’re smothered in Oreo Milkshake.

What could be cooler?
