A STYLE POST |FOUR LOOKS I’M WEARING RIGHT NOW

Hello sexy, crazy, cool people (I’ve been listening to 90s hits, it’s so okay to use that phrasing)

It’s Tuesday and I’ve taken the afternoon off work which kinda feels like I’m doing something super naughty. But it’s all authorised so meh, I guess I’m still that squeaky clean goody too shoes.

I’m tempted to download Pokemon Go and see what all the fuss is about. But no, that’s not what this time was for. This time was to show you four looks that I’m wearing right now.

It was a lil request from someone on Facebook. But a wee FYI, if you like my style posts then you should totally go follow me on IG ’cause I’m doing outfit posts on there at least once a week.

I’ll try and include links to everything or links to places where you can purchase similar stuff. But it’s hard, so please forgive me.

Oh and these photos had to be taken in between rain showers this afternoon. Nightmare, I tell ya.

FOUR SUMMER LOOKS COMING ATCHA. GO.

THE PLEATED SKIRT WITH A TEE

Maxwell said I couldn’t wear my pleated skirt with a tee. That it looked mismatched and silly. He made me take it off at the weekend before we went to a BBQ.

And then I saw my sister in law wearing hers with a tee on Insta and I was outraged that I’d even listened to him. Of course I could bloody well wear a tee with my pleated skirt. I can wear whatever the flip I want. (I’ve listened to waaaay too much Destinys Child today. Sass pants.)

This skirt is mega comfy and breezy for summer so yup, gonna wear with everything.

Pleats are a gals best friend.

Pleated Midi Skirt – ASOS (Similar styles, check out the whole range. Oh my, want all of ’em)

Petit Chien tee – Topshop

Sandals – Linzi

THE LAYERED PINAFORE

The pinafore that took soooooo long to find because of my incredibly short body. But it was worth the journey because it’s a staple wardrobe item.

As I was saying on Insta this morning, workwear doesn’t have to be all pencil skirts & sheer blouses. Find yourself a pinny and layer it up with blouses and BAM you got yourself a smart (but playful) look that no one can argue with.

Unless you work in a flashy 20 storey building in London where it’s frowned upon to wear flats. Then maybe you should stick with those pencil skirts lols.

Pinafore – similar styles from ASOS here. Or how about these super cool pinafore culottes here from H&M *heart*

Stripey top – H&M

T-bar shoes – oldies from Clarks. Similar style t-bar here.

THE PEGGED TROUSERS

I’ve dressed them up here, with black strappy sandals & a black cami (cause my wardrobe consists of black on black). But I’ve been wearing them for work with brogues and out & about with sandals.

These trousers are so flippin’ happy to be whatever you want them to be.

Got these from Tescos, I know say whaaaat?! But I can’t find them online. Tescos are missing a trick. I’ve found you some similar shape ones on ASOS thought. ‘Cause I’m nice like that.

Pegged Trousers – Tescos (no details online) Similar here & here

Black cami top – River Island (similar)

THE DRESS DOWN ACTIVE WEAR

Has anyone seen the active wear video? It makes me pee my pants with giggles every time I watch it.

It’s so reminiscent of me and so many people I know. Y’know, just chilling in my active wear. Heading to the gym? Nah mate.

Um so basically this trend allows me to be a giant slob. All over that.

The shiny bomber jacket was the one I bought for dressing up at the Moonwalk (post here). So yeah, we are recycling.

Adidas. Jeans. Converse. Classic combo.

I’ve been super ambitious with this post for a Tuesday afternoon. I now need feeding and perhaps a glass of vino and deffo a giant lie down.

Hope that’s a bit of style inspo for you, and if you wanna see more like this go follow me on Instagram.

Have a fantastic week full of good outfit days.

Love.
