This week has flown by, and it’s mainly been concerned with OH MY GOSH NEW SITE DESIGN and YES SHOPPING and FLIPPIN’ HECK NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR BRIDESMAID DRESS FITTINGS.
It’s been a slow week at work and a busy week in the world of Jade and all things social.
Here’s some cracking things that have given me all the happiness this week:
FOREVER 21 PLAYSUIT
When you’re feeling gloomy and grey, there are only a few things that can cheer you up and make you feel sparkly again. A shopping trip with the Mother is one of these wonderful things in life.
It’s a game-changer for the week.
It went from ‘Jesus Christ it’s Monday morning AGAIN’ to ‘Hell to the yes, I’m going shopping today’.
Can we take a second to appreciate the laaaavly colour of this playsuit?
I justified buying it because it can go with tights in the winter and sandals in the summer and everyone deserves a cute playsuit in their wardrobe, right? I can feel Max rolling his eyes at me whilst I read this to him.

IT’S FINALLY HERE. The thing I’ve been talking about doing since way back when I got 10,000 views on this post here.
I have my own site. My own shiny new site that I’m hoping will be a bit easier for you guys to navigate your way around. And hopefully you think it’s pretty, cause that’s the main thing right?
It’s been a lot of too-ing and fro-ing with things like ‘can my photos be round’ and ‘please make the writing a teeny tiny bit bigger’ and ‘flippin’ heck why are the photos so small?‘ and ‘oh my gosh look at the beautiful instagram feed at the bottom’ (uh huh, you should so scroll down and check that snazzy bit out).
There’s also been some sad tears because it kinda means starting from scratch with regards to stats and followers. But gal gotta do what a gal gotta do.

THE SASSIEST BOOTS EVER FROM RIVER ISLAND
They’re a cross between a dirty weekend away and what I’d imagine I’d wear to LFW. If anyone ever gave me a freakin’ invite.
Not bitter, not at all.
I picked these shiny beauts up from River Island and basically I love them more than Terrys chocolate orange, so basically a lot. I can take on the world in these (complete all work on time, write 10 blog posts AND do the mudda truckin’ washing).
I really couldn’t get on board with the whole 60’s trend for a while but HELLO now we’re talking. Just a little FYI they come in a nude colour too, and also like a patchwork suede. So pick up a few pairs, why the heck not.

BASE JUMP
The most fun you can have without consuming 10,000 calories.
This new place opened up locally and it’s basically a massive indoor trampoline heaven. Uh huh, giant rooms filled floor to ceiling with trampolines. How else would I want to spend my Saturday afternoon?
It was a weird invitation from my pal Amy. ‘Hey guys, me and Bill went to this trampoline place for Valentines day and we wondered if you both wanted to come with us this weekend?’. It was like some weird orgy request. I have special friends.
As thrilling as it was, romantically it was not.
I sweated enough to fill up 10 buckets and yes, I did manage to complete a forward flip AND land it. Go me.
I kinda felt like I was 10 years old again, in a good way. It was pretty good fun and it comes with a high recommendation from me.
It’s fantabulous way to burn some calories and pretend you’re a trampoline gymnast. Go check it out.
