As you read this, I’m speeding my way down the A13 on my way to Centre Parcs for a cracking Hen Weekend. Not gonna lie, tiny bit excited. Might just do a squeal with excitement. Don’t judge.

So yeah, this post is coming atcha a wee bit earlier than usual because LOL I’m in the wilderness and appaz wifi ain’t all that here. Thought it would be best to get this bad boy out on a Friday while I’m sober, rather than on a Sunday when I’ve had too many margaritas.

I’ll be way too busy getting my chill on at the Spa on Sunday anyways. Don’t be jell.

So here’s some things that I’m shouting about this week. SHOUT SHOUT.

LEE STAFFORD HAIR & BEAUTY SPA | BLOGGER EVENT

What a nice little invite. And what a nice little event this was too.

First off, I’m gonna be doing a whole post about this next week. But it gave me some serious smiles last night so I thought it was worth a mention here too.

Lets be clear. An event that begins with wine and a tatted up man quoting Coco Chanel is my kinda party.

Lee Stafford Hair & Beauty Salon (Chelmsford) was welcoming, professional and oh so very pink. Special mention to Daniella who gave me the most babin’ back massage.

I’m taking a few days annual leave for the big ol’ hen weekend so these treatments were literally DA BEST way to kick this off. So ta very much to Lee Stafford Hair & Beauty for sparkling up my Thursday evening.

Full deets in a post next week.

THE BIG FITNESS DRIVE

So I’ve been feeling a tiny bit sluggish lately. I really feel the need to CRANK THINGS UP in the fitness department because oh holy crap I need to look good as a bridesmaid in a months time.

And it’s kinda like fate has fallen into place ’cause I got sent a wee present this week which is gonna help me smash all my fitness goals.

Enter this swish Withings Activé Pop watch. Cute right? And appaz it’s gonna track all my fitness over the next two weeks AND tell me how good I’m sleeping.

I’m gonna document the whole thing, so be sure to check back  in with me in two weeks to see how I’ve got on.

Anyone wanna come swimming?

I could do with a fitness pal so if anyone wants to do something active with me over the next two weeks, hit me up peoples.

BARBIE REVAMP

Some of you may have seen me tweet this week about this. If you didn’t, then get over here and follow me on twitter for goodness sake.

Basically, I have a huge bug bear about the media and the pressures it puts on young people growing up these days. Particularly females.

Young girls wearing make up and worrying about their weight and wondering if they look just right, I mean wtf. So wrong on so many levels. They should be busy running and jumping and day dreaming about polly pockets and sherbet.

Heck, the biggest concern I had at a young age was ‘oh poop, someone’s read my secret diary and all hells breaking loose in the playground blush blush blush’.

Nowadays though, young girls wanna flippin’ contour and cut back on the crisps in fear of putting on weight. And the worrying thing is, it’s getting younger and younger.

And so finding out in Grazia this week that Barbie’s now come in all shapes, sizes and races, I was like hell to the yeah. This is so overdue.

I think it’s so very important for young girls to understand that we are all different and that’s perfectly a-okay.

This should be educated from a young age.

Embrace what you got gals.

BRUNCH CHEZ MOI

So I wanted to drag my Mum out for brunch this week but WAH we were both mega busy. So I settled for brunch at home. I threw together this egg-cellent concoction which you all have to go try out like now. It was super dreamy.

Crack some eggs in the pan, throw in some torn up Parma ham and then when it’s nearly cooked, chuck some chunks of avocado on top and scatter with parsley.

Oh baby.

Gave me all the smiles on my day off this week.

Who needs all those cute blogger photos of beaut brunches out when you have you’re own kitchen?
