#7 SHOP ‘TILL YOU DROP | NIKES | SPACEMAN SHOES

So this isn’t STRICTLY about my Mother’s fab shoe collection. But I’ve been on two shopping sprees this week so I thought I’d share with you a few of my fave purchases.

There are shoes involved, so don’t frown at me.

LETS GO.

1.  Clarks Silver Work Shoes – £45

I love Clarks. In fact, I have a post in my draft box waiting to be published about this brilliant brand and why we should all own a pair of them. So I won’t go into too much detail about my thoughts, but yeah. Clarks – bloody awesome. And these are silver and shiny and they make me feel like an astronaut. I can achieve anything in these babies.

2. Canary Yellow Topshop Knit – £38

Its raining outside as I write this. Like chucking it down. But nothing will stop me from smiling ESPECIALLY when I’m in this new knitted jumper. I love bright colours at the moment. And yes, we all want it to be Summer like NOW but let’s face it, it’s still a wee bit chilly to venture out without some layers. This is a perfect Spring go-to.

Annoyingly, this isn’t featured online right now. But if you visit the Topshop website, they’ve got a whole range of colourful knitwear.

3. Accessorize Sunglasses – £12

I’m usually a branded up gal who sticks to her trusty ray bans, but alas I felt like I wanted to add a bit of variety and fun to my face. I’ve been stalking blue tinted sunglasses for a while online and so when I came across these stunners in Accessorise I was all like:

‘You are MINE’

Not online. Again. Do these shops want to sell their stuff?!

4. Topshop Neon Full Skirt – £45

It happened again. I fell in love. Full skirts just keep getting the better of me. If you don’t know what I’m referring to, then read this post here. I’m going to a wedding in a few weeks time and I know what I’ll be wearing. I’ll be twirling all night, try and stop me.

Weirdly, this skirt isn’t on their website right now either. But they’ve got other nice midi full skirts, like this one.

  5. Nikes – £70

I’m a trainer gal through and through. I’ve been wearing the same vans for the past two years SHOCK HORROR. They have a hole in them. In fact, I even wore some converse yesterday that I’ve had since I was 13. I’m not a big shoe buyer (with my Mums collection, what’s the point?)

Anyway, my Mum’s been banging on about ‘going out trainers’ for months now and how EVERYONE will be wearing trainers with EVERYTHING. Naturally, I full on laughed about this. Mocked her. Even made jokes about it to people (soz Mum)

But as usual, Mother’s always right.

So here I am with these Nikes. And yes I shall wear them with everything. They’re pretty cute not to mention comfortable as hell.

6. Sketch Afternoom Tea – £39

Okay so I know this isn’t technically a purchase, but meh. I still paid for it.

If you’re an afternoon tea lover like me then you need to check this place out. I went here on Monday with my Mum, Auntie and Grandma and it was a little slice of unique London.

The walls were covered with naughty cartoon sketches, and we were served food like egg mayo mini sandwiches topped with quail egg and caviar on quirky little plates.

The toilets were out of this world. (see below)

If you’re looking for somewhere special to take friends/other halves/your treasured pet, then this place is perfect. Afternoon tea starts from £39 per person and I’d highly recommend.
