OOTD: H&M JUMPSUIT FOR SHORT GALS

IMG_5654

Being 5 foot nothing has it’s advantages. For example, I can fit into teeny weeny spaces for hide & seek and sometimes I can purchase children’s clothes.

However, there are also some major drawbacks to being of the short variety; I can never reach the top cupboard, I get lost in large crowds real easy and smug kids are always saying something along the lines of: “WOW we’re like the SAME height even though you’re 20 years older than me!”

I could punch them.

To top it off, I might as well not bother attending concerts because HECK, I ain’t gonna see a lot else other than the back of the sweaty person’s head in front.

I’m not bitter about it. I’m really not.

But one of the most annoying things about being pint sized is that trousers are most certainly always too long for me, and I don’t even bother looking at jumpsuits or playsuits because they are made for people with legs as long as my entire body put together.

Until now! Do you remember a little while ago when I wrote about the Tesco’s Coluttes Jumpsuit? It’s here if you haven’t. Well since then I’ve been keeping an open mind about jumpsuits. Y’know, I don’t snub them every time I see one.

LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN H&M AND IT FITS AND EVERYTHING

It’s my new best friend.

Okay so I’ve had to role the legs up but that gives the outfit a bit more sass anyway right?

The best thing about this outfit is it’s super, super light and easy to wear. In fact, I almost feel like I’m stepping out in PJs. Give me a hot water bottle and I could easily snuggle down and snooze like a cat. Stick some heels on and…

JADE’S READY TO PARTY

I mean it doesn’t get better than that.

The bag, in case you’re wondering, is a little sneaky buy from Primark. And yes, it was actually a make up bag, not a clutch. But who’s gonna know? I mean, apart from my whole blogging audience now. So keep it on the DL yeah.

The point is, I saw it and I was like YES you are gonna make this outfit ‘pop’. That’s an expression my Mum uses all the god dam time:

“Jade, I’m thinking of taking this bright green luminous bag with me tonight. I need something that makes the outfit ‘pop’.”

Bless her. Now I spend half the time looking for bags that make my outfit ‘pop’. It’s bloody infectious, I tell ya.

H&M Jumpsuit – £29.99

Primark Bag – £1.00 (It says £3 on the site, but I only paid a cheeky quid for it)

Oh and by the way, the jumpsuit has pockets. Freakin’ pockets. If you don’t know about my obsession with this, then you need to read my post here and here. If you do know about the obsession, well done you, you’re on top of the game.

I’m off to Summer Tales in Shoreditch tonight to party like a cool kid, so I’ll have to cut this post short.

Have a good weekend everyone *all the happy emojis*
